Yes. Every shop starts with a 14-day free trial, and no payment card is needed to start it.

No. There's no long-term contract — the account owner can cancel from Plan & billing at any time.

One standard message segment uses one text credit. Longer messages, emoji messages and incoming client replies can use more. Included text credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Optional prepaid packages are 250 for $5, 1,000 for $15, 2,500 for $32. Prepaid text credits remain available until used. When all included and prepaid credits are used, paid text sending stops. Add a package or send the reminder by email. There are no automatic text-credit overage charges.

Texting is activated only after your shop's carrier registration is approved. Until then you can still take bookings and keep records.

Yes, if your current software can export them to a file. Coatlog's in-app Import tool accepts CSV, tab-delimited TXT and Excel files with client, pet and appointment records. You match your columns to Coatlog's fields and review a preview before anything is added. Appointments import when their service matches one set up in your shop. Coatlog doesn't connect directly to DaySmart or Groomsoft.

No. Clients open your booking page, look themselves up by phone number, pick a service and time, and they're done.

Yes. Online booking only offers each groomer's own configured hours and drop-off times, so one groomer's extra times never open up for someone else.

No. Card deposits through Stripe are optional and set per shop; you can also run with no online deposit at all.

Your shop keeps ownership of its records, and they stay in your own shop account. Reports download as CSV from the admin area; there is not yet a full self-service export, so the account owner can request a complete record copy from support — do this before canceling, as Coatlog does not promise indefinite storage afterwards.

No. Card payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe, and Coatlog never stores raw card numbers.
