I own Snuggles Pet Spa, and I built Coatlog around the way a real grooming shop operates.
Coatlog started with the everyday work behind a grooming appointment: keeping schedules clear, remembering each pet, collecting deposits and keeping owners updated.
The goal is practical software for independent grooming shops, shaped by the people who use it during a real workday.

Common questions
How much does Coatlog cost?
$29 a month with 500 text credits each month. Eligible invited founding shops pay $24.95 a month while continuously subscribed and receive 250 monthly text credits. The founding plan has half the Standard allowance.
How do text credits work?
One standard message segment uses one text credit. Longer messages, emoji messages and incoming client replies can use more. Included credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Optional prepaid packages are 250 for $5, 1,000 for $15 or 2,500 for $32, and remain until used. When all included and prepaid credits are used, paid text sending stops. Add a package or send the reminder by email. There are no automatic text-credit overage charges. Texting is activated only after the shop's carrier registration is approved.
Can you move my data from DaySmart or Groomsoft?
Send us your export file and we'll review and import supported client, pet, note and appointment fields with you at no charge. We confirm the exact scope after reviewing the file rather than promising every field.
Do my clients need an account to book?
No. Clients open your booking page, look themselves up by phone number, pick a service and time, and they're done.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Cancel through Plan & billing. Every shop starts with a 14-day free trial with no card needed.
How can I get a copy of my shop data?
Reports and payroll can be downloaded as CSV from the admin area. There is not yet a full self-service shop export; the account owner can request a complete record copy from support.
Who owns my shop records?
Your shop keeps ownership of its records. The account owner can request a full copy from support and should do so before canceling; Coatlog does not promise indefinite storage after cancellation.
